From Thoroughbred Times of Feb. 21, 2009: “Lane’s End Texas in Hempstead was the clear leader in the Lone Star State with $4,539,442, nearly half of which was generated by sons and daughters of the veteran VALID EXPECTATIONS. VALID EXPECTATIONS sired two Texas champions in 2008, our own Bridesmaid and Valid Message. The facility also has seasoned sires DOVE HUNT and TRULUCK, freshman sire MIDWAY ROAD, and the flashy TOO MUCH BLING, whose first foals are yearlings this year.
The farm is the sister operation of William S. Farish’s renowned Lane’s End in Versailles, Kentucky. To entice mare owners the breed to the Texas stallions, Lane’s End Texas offers a complimentary breeding with the purchase of a season to any of its stallions in 2009.”
