Lane’s End led all consignors by Grade 1 winners in 2010 and is once again forging the way this season. Lane’s End graduates include one of the impressive three-year-olds in the nation, G1 Florida Derby hero Dialed In, who is by MINESHAFT. Co-bred by Lane’s End, Dialed In sold for $475,000 at the 2009 Fasig-Tipton Saratoga sale. Dialed In also won the G3 Holy Bull S. for owner Robert LaPenta and trainer Nick Zito.

Zito also trains another Grade 1-winning Lane’s End sales grad in Morning Line. A Dell Ridge Farm-bred maternal grandson of A.P. INDY, Morning Line won the G1 Carter H. at Aqueduct. Representatives of Thoroughbred Legends Racing Stable purchased Morning Line from Lane’s End’s 2008 Keeneland September draft for $700,000. That was the highest price of the 62 yearlings from his sire Tiznow that sold that year.

Lane’s End also sold Thiskyhasnolimit, who won the G3 Texas Mile at Lone Star Apr. 23 to bring his earnings to over $70,000. Bred in Kentucky by Stud TNT, Thiskyhasnolimit was a $120,000 yearling from Lane’s End’s 2008 September offering.

In 2010, Lane’s End had six sales graduates who won at the highest level, including the G1 Met Mile hero QUALITY ROAD, G1 Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf heroine Shared Account (PLEASANTLY PERFECT), champion Pathfork and Biondetti.

As you consider buying at the sales this year, think Lane’s End. Buyers return to the barns with proven runners! We will be represented at all the major sales and our consignments will include the Edward P. Evans / Springhill Farm dispersals.
