A.P. INDY is without a doubt one of the most preeminent sire of sires in the world, and when it comes to matching value and performance, few can surpass his son STEPHEN GOT EVEN. The sire of champion Stevie Wonderboy and G1SW I Want Revenge was back in the headlines over Derby weekend when his son First Dude captured the G3 Alysheba S. at Churchill Downs. The strapping four-year-old emerged as one of the top members of his generation lasted year with placings in five Grade 1 events, including the Preakness S. and Belmont S. He opened his 2011 account with a facile allowance victory at Santa Anita and was given a 7-1 chance in the Alysheba, which attracted a first-rate field. Settled in a mid-pack position under Martin Garcia, the Bob Baffert-trained colt circled five wide into the lane and prevailed over Regal Ransom in a six-horse blanket finish.

STEPHEN GOT EVEN is also the sire of the star Japanese performer Cosmo Phantom, hero of the 2011 G3 Nikkan Sports Sho Nakayama Kimpai at Nakayama, and the up-and-coming Stephanie Got Even, winner of the American Beauty S. at Oaklawn Park and third to Hilda’s Passion and Amen Hallelujah in the G2 Inside Information S. In 2011, STEPHEN GOT EVEN can also boast the group performers Schoolyard Dreams and North Rodeo, and the stakes performers Bauers Got Hours, Stephengothisstar and Extender Family.
