CITY ZIP’s 4-year-old daughter City to City captured her second graded event in Southern California Monday with a determined late run in the G2 Palomar H. at Del Mar. Also winner of the G2 Providencia S. at Santa Anita last year and on the board in 14 of 18 starts entering the Palomar, a 1 1/16-mile event on the grass, City to City launched her rally in earnest in the stretch and was up to tag Medaglia d’Amour in the final strides. The win pushed her career earnings to $371,491. Produced by the Storm Cat mare Stormbow, City to City was bred in Kentucky by Dr. D. Michael Cavey, Jr. She is owned by William deBurgh and Jerry Hollendorfer and trained by Hollendorfer.
