Lane’s End sold 4 of the 6 top-priced Broodmare Prospects last November, including, the classy 5yo Switch, a MG1SW for CRK Stable and trainer John Sadler and coming off a third-place finish in the G1 Breeders’ Cup F/M Sprint, brought $4.3 million at Fasig Tipton. Moyglare Stud signed for Switch.
The accomplished 3yo filly Grace Hall also scaled great heights at Fasig. The Grade 1 winner and triple Oaks victress sold to Reynolds Bell, Jr., agent, for $3.2 million. Tony Dutrow trained Grace Hall for owners Michael Dubb, Bethlehelm Stables and the Elkstone Group.
Pam, Marty and Emily Wygod’s dual Grade 1 winner Harmonious proved one of the stars of the opening session at Keeneland. The 5yo sold to Mandore International Agency for $2.8 million. John Shirreffs trained Harmonious during her racing career.
Completing Lane’s End’s fearsome foursome was the first-class Zazu, a dual Grade 1 winner for Jerry and Ann Moss who was hammered down at Keeneland to Katsumi Yoshida for $2.1 million.
