2014 Keeneland September Yearling Sale +

With 211 horses sold for a staggering $28,581,700, Lane’s End Sales led all consignors by gross at the recently concluded Keeneland September Yearling Sale. That total was nearly $2 million clear of the runner-up consignment, which offered 65 more horses, and was nearly 3x the gross sales of the fourth-ranked consignment. Horses selling from Lane’s End averaged $135,458, a 36.4% improvement on the sale average.

2014 Keeneland January Horses of All Ages Sale +

The first sale of 2014 brought a total of $1,084,000 in consignments for Lane’s End, with 19 horses sold, averaging $57,053. The top three highest prices for Lane’s End came in the 2nd session when a Distorted Humor mare in foal to Candy Ride (ARG) sold for $190,000, followed by two more at $170,000 a piece, including an Indian Charlie mare also in foal to Candy Ride (ARG) and a short yearling filly by Leading Sire of 2013 Kitten’s Joy.
