2014 Keeneland January Horses of All Ages Sale +

The first sale of 2014 brought a total of $1,084,000 in consignments for Lane’s End, with 19 horses sold, averaging $57,053. The top three highest prices for Lane’s End came in the 2nd session when a Distorted Humor mare in foal to Candy Ride (ARG) sold for $190,000, followed by two more at $170,000 a piece, including an Indian Charlie mare also in foal to Candy Ride (ARG) and a short yearling filly by Leading Sire of 2013 Kitten’s Joy.

2013 Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale +

As the consignor for the Robsham Stables dispersal, Lane’s End was the second leading consignor at Keeneland November, grossing $20,302,900, and averaging $165,065, which is more than twice the average for the sale as a whole.

With a clearance rate of 90% Lane’s End sold a total of 123 horses.

The sale’s highest price went to the Lane’s End consigned Awesome Maria, who sold to M.V. Magnier for $4 million. Lane’s End also sold Broadway’s Alibi for $2.15 million and Lady of Shamrock for $2 million.

2013 Fasig-Tipton The November Sale +

At the first sale of November, Lane’s End sold two horses, grossing $1.7 million in consignments. Pure Fun, a filly by Pure Prize, sold for $1,350,000 to Kia Ora Stud–Australia. Twice the Lady, by Quiet American, also sold for $350,000 to Winstar Farm LLC.

2013 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky Fall Yearlings Sale +

At the Fasig-Tipton Kentucky Fall Yearlings Sale, Lane’s End sold 33 yearlings for a total of $1,264,700, achieving an average of $38,324, higher than the sale company’s overall average of $34,117. Lane’s End sold four six-figure yearlings, including a filly by Speightstown, which sold for $200,000 to Mark Casse, Agent, and a filly by Quality Road, which sold for $125,000 to Champion Equine.

2013 Keeneland September Yearling Sale +

With gross sales of $22,844,000, Lane’s End was the second leading consignor at Keeneland September. We sold 176 yearlings by some of America’s leading sires, such as Medaglia d’Oro, Distorted Humor, Tapit, Candy Ride (ARG), Smart Strike, Tiznow, Giant’s Causeway, and many more.

The highest priced consignment came in at $1,000,000 for a colt by Medaglia d’Oro. Six other yearlings sold for $500,000 or more, including $850,000 for a colt by Distorted Humor and $600,000 for a colt by Tapit.
