Horses from the first and second crops of CURLIN had a huge weekend in the U.S. and beyond, winning no fewer than five races from Ellis Park to Ascot and placing CURLIN squarely as the #3 second-crop sire in the nation.

The undefeated 3yo filly Stopshoppingdebbie led the way, collecting her third straight stakes win in the Kent H. July 14. The Northwest Farms homebred is now 4-for-4 lifetime.

The 2yo filly Baroness Rose was one of two maiden special winners for CURLIN at Ellis on the weekend. On Friday, July 12, she romped by three lengths in a one-mile turf event for trainer Mike Maker.

A day later, the 2yo colt Ride On Curlin, a Lane’s End sales grad, dominated a 5 1/2-furlong maiden special on the dirt by 7 3/4 lengths and setting a track record.

Also on July 13, Jay Eye See, a 3yo CURLIN colt, got his head down for a hard-fought victory in a 6f event at Monmouth, while Butterfly McQueen, a 3yo filly by CURLIN, posted an impressive 6-length tally in an Ascot handicap.

The CURLINs are coming on! Keep an eye out for his yearlings at Fasig-Tipton Saratoga, where three of his youngsters have been catalogued.
